A Lightweight Passive Shipper with a Configurable Insulated Interior
The carton combines a printable paperboard outer shell with a reflective foil-lined insulated interior. The paperboard, insulation material, facing, seams and closure must be specified together because these details determine usable space, handling and the basis for thermal testing.
Reflective inner surface
A foil-lined interior provides a reflective inner surface while the selected insulation construction supplies the passive insulation layer.
Paperboard outer protection
The corrugated or paperboard shell provides secondary containment and a surface for handling marks or project artwork.

Assemble the Carton, Protect the Payload and Qualify the Packout
Confirm the exact panel construction and usable space before loading. Assemble all faces and joints consistently, protect the payload from direct coolant contact where required, and qualify the closed packout for the intended route.
Confirm the construction
Approve the paperboard grade, insulation core, foil facing, panel thickness, internal dimensions, closure and artwork for the selected model.
Assemble without gaps
Open the carton fully and inspect the insulation layer, corners, seams and lid before the payload is loaded.
Build the packout
Use suitable primary packaging and position conditioned gel packs, ice bricks or PCM components according to the defined loading pattern.
Close, monitor and qualify
Seal the carton consistently, place monitoring devices at defined risk points when required, and test the complete configuration against the route profile.
Complete transport configuration
Thermal performance depends on the complete load and route conditions.
Confirm the minimum and maximum product load, any coolant or other thermal-control component used, starting conditions, closure and opening frequency, route ambient-temperature profile and transit duration in a defined complete-configuration test or qualification protocol.
