Carton-compatible format
A 3D liner can be matched to the usable space inside a corrugated carton, while a 2D format can be reviewed for mailer-style use.
1 / 4 Flexible Thermal Packaging · Box Liners & Thermal Mailers
A disposable flexible liner that adds a reflective facing and foam insulation layer inside a corrugated shipping carton. Choose a 2D mailer or 3D liner format from three reference size-and-thickness combinations, then confirm the selected model. A packout is the complete arrangement of the product load, coolant, insulation, carton and closure; its thermal duration must be verified as a complete system.
Product Overview
The liner is intended to add a flexible insulation and radiant-barrier layer inside a carton while remaining foldable for storage and assembly. The available construction descriptions include sealed foil, coated foil and air-bubble foil formats. Final dimensions, layer structure, seams and closure must be tied to one selected configuration before ordering.
A 3D liner can be matched to the usable space inside a corrugated carton, while a 2D format can be reviewed for mailer-style use.
The foil surface and expanded polyethylene foam layer are used to reduce heat transfer as part of the complete package.
The flexible format supports flat delivery, storage and on-site carton assembly.
The liner can be combined with a corrugated carton and conditioned coolant after quantity and placement are validated.
Product Specifications
Use the entries below as starting points for carton-fit review. Confirm how each size, thickness, material and closure option maps to the selected liner before sampling or production.
| Specification | Reference data | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Reference size and thickness 1 | 32 × 22 × 30 cm; 2 mm | Confirm dimension order, finished tolerance and sealed-foil construction. |
| Reference size and thickness 2 | 32 × 23 × 28 cm; 2.5 mm | Confirm dimension order, finished tolerance, coated-foil build and closure. |
| Reference size and thickness 3 | 37.5 × 25.5 × 34 cm; 3 mm | Confirm dimension order, finished tolerance, air-bubble-foil build and 2D or 3D format. |
| Foam layer | Expanded polyethylene (EPE) family description | Confirm density, thickness, lamination and compression requirements. |
| Thermal duration | Established by complete-packout testing | Provide the product-temperature range, transit time, carton, coolant and route profile. |
Use & Packout
Confirm the finished liner dimensions and closure before packing. Where coolant is required, pre-freeze or otherwise condition it to the required starting state and use the quantity and placement defined for the complete packout.
Match the finished liner dimensions, thickness and 2D or 3D format to the usable internal space of the selected carton.
Check the foil surface, seams and closure area for punctures, tears, open seals or contamination before loading.
Bring the product load and any gel packs or other coolant components to the starting conditions defined for the shipping procedure.
Place the liner in the carton, arrange the product and coolant as documented, and protect the foil and seams from sharp edges.
Close the liner and outer carton using the selected method, then verify the assembled packout against the approved packing instruction.
Complete transport configuration
Confirm the minimum and maximum product load, any coolant or other thermal-control component used, starting conditions, closure and opening frequency, route ambient-temperature profile and transit duration in a defined complete-configuration test or qualification protocol.
These references explain industry qualification and transport practices. They do not certify this product or replace testing of your complete packout. Using an ISTA 7E profile alone does not constitute ISTA certification.
Project Configuration
Share the carton internal dimensions, product load, required product-temperature range, transit time, route ambient profile, coolant arrangement, closure preference and expected order quantity. A liner configuration can then be reviewed for fit, manufacturing feasibility and complete-packout testing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Use these answers for initial selection. For ordering and packout setup, follow the specifications and instructions confirmed for your model.
Start with the usable internal dimensions of the closed carton, then allow for the liner thickness, product load, coolant and closure folds. Confirm the finished liner drawing before ordering.
No. Duration depends on the complete package, including the product load, coolant, carton, liner, starting conditions, closure and shipping-lane temperature exposure. Verify the assembled packout by testing.
It can be evaluated with conditioned gel packs as part of a complete packout. Coolant quantity, placement and separation from the product must be defined for the intended shipment.
This format is intended for single-trip use. Plan reuse only when the selected construction has documented cleaning, inspection and reuse limits.
