Insulated Carton Boxes

Insulated Carton Boxes — Specification Overview

This category currently lists one fold-flat carton format. Carton length, width and depth are produced to order, so dimensions and capacity are confirmed for the selected model rather than fixed across the range. Board, insulation, facing, closure and thermal behaviour are reviewed together on the approved drawing and sample.

Construction confirmed for this carton family: fold-flat paperboard carton; kraft paperboard or white paperboard outer; reflective foil laminate inner facing; aluminium foil reflective inner layer with a foam or bubble lining; 5 mm insulation layer (5 or 7 mm reference panel thickness — confirm model); passive, non-electric operation. Coolant is supplied separately, and the selected coolant configuration sets the hold time achieved.

External, internal and folded dimensions produced to order — confirm on the approved drawing. Outer shell: kraft or white paperboard over corrugated board, with a printable handling surface. Multi-layer build: corrugated outer carton in kraft paper or white card, aluminium foil reflective inner layer and a foam or bubble lining; 5 mm insulation layer, 5 or 7 mm reference panel thickness. Ice packs, gel packs or PCM panels placed inside the lined cavity.

Before ordering: treat the 5 mm and 7 mm values as family-level wall-thickness references. Confirm the paperboard, insulation core, facing, wall build-up, joints, usable internal dimensions and test configuration for the selected carton. The empty carton does not determine hold time — performance depends on the payload, coolant, starting conditions, usable space, closure, route duration and ambient profile, and must be established for the complete packout.

Customization options

Configure the Carton Around Your Packout

Start from the fold-flat carton format. If your payload, route or handling process needs a different arrangement, these are the points confirmed with you before production.

Foil-lined insulated carton configured for a parcel packout

Size and usable space

Carton length, width and depth are produced to order so the box fits a specific product, insert set or pallet pattern.

Outer paperboard

The outer surface can be supplied in kraft paper or white card over corrugated board, with the print surface selected to suit branding and handling requirements.

Insulation layer build

The foil and foam lining is specified at 5 mm as standard, with the layer combination adjusted for longer hold times where the application requires it.

Foil facing and seams

Confirm aluminium foil or metallized film, the laminate and the edge seams as one approved construction for the selected carton.

Closure and joints

Lid, flaps, tape, edge seals and the assembly method are defined for the selected carton so the closed packout is repeatable.

Printing and branding

One- or multi-colour printing, logos, handling icons and required product information can be applied directly to the carton.

Internal fitments

Dividers, product inserts and base trays can be added so contents are protected and held in position during transport.

Coolant configuration

The number and placement of ice packs, gel packs or PCM panels is set to suit the payload, the separation required and the target hold time.

Flat-pack supply: boxes are supplied folded flat for compact storage and on-site assembly, with bulk packing quantities specified to the customer’s fulfilment process.
